Jeremiah Howells - 8th Grade Gold Team
Stepped up with great effort and intensity, played excellent interior defense and controlled the boards, knocked down big shots in a League win over a tough Rogers team.
Mike Jacobs - 8th Grade Gold Team
Mike came off the bench to score 15 points and played lock down defense for the 8th grade Gold team. His positive attitude throughout the game reflected on how hard the team played. Mike is a true team player and has improved tremendously since the beginning of the season.
3RD GRADE ABA TEAM
Player of the week honors go to the entire 3rd grade team. They just won the Auburn Select League championship with a thrilling win over Sumner in the championship. #StrongAloneUnstoppableTogether
KADEN HANSEN - 8th Grade Green Team
Kaden caught fire from the perimeter, making 8-9 shots from 3pt range Saturday vs Kentlake. Kaden played with great energy and intensity on defense as well, shutting down Kentlake’s guards and getting steals that led to transition layups.
TREVON BLASSINGAME - 8th Grade Green Team
Tre's outstanding hustle, rebounding, defense and aggressive offensive play was instrumental in getting a big win over a very Talented Renton Select team in the Auburn Select League.
DILLON SHERLING - 7th Grade Gold Team
7th grade Gold won their first game 23-21 vs Enumclaw. Dillon Sherling had an outstanding game at both ends of the court. Ball handling, breaking the press on offense and stepping into the passing lanes on defense. Dillon had an excellent game and without his play Gold would not have won.
TJ CHAGOLLA - 4th Grade Team
He became a leader on the floor for the 4th graders. Led our team to a huge win over NW All-Stars. He scored the most points and led in assists. TJ was sharing the ball and making passes to open teammates. Also, he encouraged the team from the bench with vocal praise. We are very proud of his teamwork.
JAY MENTINK - 7th Grade Green
Jay played a complete game. His aggressive defense and steals helped turn the game around. He was also a monster on the boards. He is always tasked with guarding the opposing teams best player. After shutting down the opposing player he is out on the break looking to score or serving up an assist to his teammates. Jay leads by example. Great game Jay!
MALEEK ARINGTON - 8th Grade Green
Maleek had a great weekend at the Mt. Si Wildcat Shootout. The 8th grade team won the championship, defeating Eastlake in the championship game. Maleek's ability to score, distribute, and make timely defensive plays was key to the Trojans pulling out the championship. Maleek is our ABA week 1 POW.
